The region’s best produce and finest rainforest experiences have been curated to create an unforgettable and transformative adventure that you will never forget.

On Day One you'll meet like-minded retreat goers in Cairns and begin the scenic drive north to retreat HQ along one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal drives. Along the way we stop at the coastal resort town of Palm Cove for a delicious lunch at the award winning Vivo Restaurant. After a tasty stop, we farewell the ocean and continue our journey north west to our rainforest home-away-from-home.

Shortly after our arrival at the Daintree Ecolodge, experience an intimate connection with the 180 million year old rainforest during a traditional welcome to country and smoking ceremony, which marks the official start of our retreat.

After a beautiful restorative yoga session on day one you will dine with new friends at the onsite Julaymba Restaurant. Savour the sustainable and locally-inspired seasonal menu that celebrates the true flavours and native produce of Far North Queensland during an immersive 6 course degustation dinner, paired to fine wines.

Each evening you will retire to your eco awarded ‘bayan’ (treehouse) nestled in the canopy of the oldest rainforest on the planet. Wake to the gentle sounds of nature from your modern, open plan bayan designed to immerse you in the ancient emerald vines and sounds of the jungle whilst still enjoying your creature comforts.

Each morning you have the opportunity to experience a unique yoga, meditation and breath work session designed for all ages and levels of ability with internationally-acclaimed Mind-Body Coach, Emily Spurling, your host on the retreat. You will be gifted with practical techniques to improve your health and quality of life that will easily and naturally become part of your wellbeing rituals for years to come.

After a delicious breakfast, discover the Daintree Ecolodge's private onsite waterfall on a leisurely stroll through the enchanting rainforest on 'A Walk Through Time.' The waterfall and swimming hole is sacred to the Kuku Yalanji women; for thousands of years they’ve bathed in its crystal-clear waters for healing and spiritual beliefs. Learn about the unique and amazing plants, insects, birds and other wildlife that surround us. Much of the wildlife you will see here cannot be found anywhere else in the world, with some species dating back 135 million years.

You will also be pampered during a 30 minute 'Julma' Massage on Day Two or Day Three, which combines techniques from the East and West to revitalise, de-stress and release muscle tension.

Venture to the historic Daintree Village, the region’s original settlement which was home to timber cutters in the 1870s. Enjoy an ice cold beer and lunch in the laidback and welcoming Daintree Village Hotel located in the heart of the yesteryear storefronts.

At dusk you'll have front row seats when the majestic Daintree River comes to life on a spectacular cruise. The Daintree River is home to an abundance of wildlife including a large population of crocodiles, a large array of birdlife, tree snakes, frogs and some impressive spiders ….all seen from the safety of your boat.

Back at the lodge after a delicious 3 course dinner bursting with the freshest homegrown and locally-sourced ingredients, your day concludes with a deeply restorative meditation called Yoga Nidra. This is a profoundly healing practice has been scientifically proven to alleviate anxiety and PTSD as well as promote deep sleep.

On Day Three, after gaining deep insights during yoga and meditation we travel to Tranquility Falls and experience a ceremonial release of everything that no longer serves you. This energetic clearing makes way for our blissful evening manifesting session, where you will be guided into a deep meditation that propels you to envision and create the life of your dreams.

On our final evening together, enjoy a joyful BBQ in the lodge’s tropical garden whilst reflecting on an incredible few days, before surrendering to a final restful evening in the breathtaking rainforest.

Roll out your yoga mat one last time on Day Four, leaving the soul-enriching retreat with new friends, a deep transformation and sense of empowerment to keep forever.

Terms & Conditions: We require a 25% deposit payment at time of booking, and final payment is due 30+ days from event start date. Guests can cancel 30+ days from event start date with no penalty. Any cancellations made 30 – 0 days prior to arrival; 100% cancellation fee applies. For any guests whose travel is affected by COVID-19 as a result of a Queensland Government deemed COVID-19 hotspot, the accommodation portion of your retreat package will be placed into credit (for use over a 12 month period) and the balance refunded.

    Emily's laid back and inclusive approach resonates with first time students and advanced yogis alike. Emily has been recognised as an industry expert and can be found on FMTV.com alongside other wellness exerts such as Deepak Chopra and Jamie Oliver.

    Emily is a Yoga teacher and Certified Holistic Health Coach who loves sharing the ultimate toolbox for becoming your best authentic self. Emily is an eternal student of yoga globally and is formally trained in Hatha and Vinyasa flow, she has beautifully combined these styles to create her own much loved yoga experience. This 'fusion' style is the perfect blend of light and shade, one flow will have you generating heat and building lean muscle and the next you will be blissing out in a slow, opening restorative sequence. Emily is also a Thai Masseuse whose hands on adjustments in class help you to slip into the perfect pose and a state of deep relaxation. 


    Emily is drawn to yoga and meditation as a way to become fully present and 'show up' as the best version of herself in all areas of life. “We are all expected to wear so many different 'hats' every day, as a mother of two beautiful children, a wife, entrepreneur and teacher, to name a few, it can be really confusing and challenging to stay grounded, positive and on my path. If we are not living in the moment then we're not showing up, Yoga and meditation are my secret weapon and it is my pleasure to share this gift with you.”
