This retreat is an opportunity to be holistically nourished, restoring body and mind to optimal health. You have the opportunity to join two or three daily classes or workshops including yoga, fitness, nutrition, meditation and more in the gorgeous indoor ‘Garden Shala’ or outdoor space ’Temple of the High Trees’. Plus, learn the art of mindfulness in none other than ‘The Enchanted Forest’. Your body will heal from the inside out as you enjoy delicious farm to table vegan cuisine, lovingly prepared using local, organic produce.

We take a day trip to the coastal village of Ericeira where you’ll walk the cobblestone streets of the white washed village and feel the pulse of this gorgeous coastal stretch. Surf lessons available on request. Next stop, the dreamy town of Sintra. Take to the Unesco World Heritage listed streets of the towns centre, visit Portugal’s most famous palace and awe in the natural beauty of Sintra’s lush forests and dramatic cliffs that explode out of the ocean. You may even choose to undertake the lusty task of death and rebirth (according to Tarot Mysticism) when you climb the 9 story spiralling staircase of the initiation tower in the Quinta da Regaleira Gardens.

    Emily Spurling

    Emily is a Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher and certified Holistic Health Coach. Recognised as an expert in her field, Emily has garnered much acclaim from her viewership on www.fmtv.com where she appears alongside other industry leaders including Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Dr Bruce Lipton to name a few.

    With a decade of teaching experience under her belt Emily is also an eternal student of yoga globally with formal training in Hatha and Vinyasa flow. She has beautifully combined these styles to create her own much loved yoga experience. This 'fusion' style is the perfect blend of light and shade, one flow will have you generating heat and building lean muscle and the next will have you blissing out in a slow, opening restorative sequence.

    Victoria is a Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach. After years of weight lifting and marathon running, she discovered yoga as a way to deal with hormonal imbalances caused by stress.

    Despite discovering her love for yoga, she's maintained her fitness practice, and has now found a perfect balance between the two. She incorporates parts of her training in physical fitness into her yoga practice, for a deeply engaging and dynamic flow aimed at toning and strengthening the core.

    "Whether it's yoga, resistance exercise, cardio or mindfulness, in the end it's all about being present, conscious and taking time for yourself. It's about stepping outside of your comfort zone, challenging your body and your mind and coming out the other end as a better and stronger person."

    Through Hatha, Restorative and Kundalini Yoga complemented by Gong Baths and Singing Bowls, Jessica shares tools to gently guide people into spaces of restoration, expansion and transformation; breathing life deeply into the places that need our attention to rejuvenate openness and curiosity for life's mystery and creative potential.

    Jack Weaver

    Jack (Bsc.Lic.Ac.) brings an upbeat spirit and empathetic sensitivity to his work as an acupuncturist and biodynamic craniosacral therapist. He trained in the UK at The International College of Oriental Medicine regarded as a leader in its field, where he awarded first class honours Degree. Having worked at one of London's most established acupuncture clinics, Jack's discipline has supported many people on their healing journeys. He shares a refined Qi Gong and Yin Yoga practice maintaining a kind-hearted energy and authenticity with his students.
