Held in the cosy Sol Moves Studio in Mooloolaba, this intimate experience invites you to reconnect with your body, your creativity and your inner calm.

What You’ll Experience...

Throughout the morning you’ll be guided through a carefully curated journey of movement, creativity and deep relaxation, including:

  • Somatic Yoga & Pranayama –  Drop out of the mind and into the body. Through breath, sound and primal movement, release stored tension and emotion.
  • Deeply Restorative Yoga Nidra Meditation
  • Mindful Art — a creative meditation in motion
  • Intuitive Wisdom from the Zen Tarot. Learn to tap into your intution and unlock your deep inner knowing. 

Somatic Yoga

To truly release, we must go beyond the mind and into the body. This practice combines slow yoga, somatic movement and breathwork to help unwind physical tension and emotional holding patterns stored in the body.

Expect gentle, intuitive movement, moments of stillness and space to listen inward — allowing the body to soften, open and restore.

Mindful Art

Discover the calming and meditative practice of Zentangles.

You’ll be guided through a creative process that encourages focus, presence and relaxation. No artistic experience is required—in fact, that’s the beauty of it.

This mindful art practice helps quiet mental chatter, reduce stress and create a state of flow, leaving you feeling grounded, centred and inspired.

YOGA NIDRA

Imagine lying comfortably, wrapped in warmth, with nothing to do and nowhere to be. As you’re gently guided through Yoga Nidra, your body begins to melt into profound relaxation while your mind drifts into a peaceful state between wakefulness and sleep. Here, stress softens, tension dissolves and your nervous system is invited into deep rest and repair. Often described as the equivalent of several hours of restorative sleep, Yoga Nidra can leave you feeling lighter, calmer and completely renewed. It’s an opportunity to step away from the constant busyness of life, quiet the mental chatter and reconnect with a deep sense of peace, clarity and wellbeing—leaving you refreshed, grounded and ready to return to life with a greater sense of ease.

Emily Spurling

Emily is a holistic health coach and yoga teacher with over 16 years of experience guiding people back into connection with their body, breath and inner calm.

Known for blending science with heart (and a touch of woo-woo), Emily’s sessions weave together Hatha, Vinyasa and fascia informed movement alongside breathwork, nervous system regulation and subtle energy awareness.

Emily hosts transformational retreats around the world, supports thousands of people globally through her online programs, and her teachings have been featured on the international wellbeing platforms Gaia & DailyOM. One of her recent retreats was also featured on Channel 9’s Getaway.

Emily creates nurturing, welcoming spaces where you can slow down, reconnect and leave feeling grounded, open and deeply restored in body and mind

Karma Being Yoga Retreats – Terms & Conditions

By booking a Karma Being Yoga Retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Deposit
A 25% deposit is required to secure your place.

Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 2 months prior to the retreat start date.

Cancellations made within 2 months of the retreat start date are non-refundable.

2. Balance Payment
The remaining balance is due 2 months prior to the retreat start date.

If the balance is not received by this date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
Your Cancellation:

More than 2 months before retreat: Full refund of deposit and any balance paid.

Less than 2 months before retreat: No refund.

Our Cancellation:

In the unlikely event that Karma Being must cancel the retreat, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur, such as flights or other travel arrangements.

4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.

This should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and loss of belongings.

You are fully responsible for arranging your own travel insurance.

5. Media Consent
Photographs and/or videos may be taken during the retreat for marketing and promotional purposes.

By booking, you give consent for your image to be used unless you advise us otherwise in writing before the retreat begins.

6. Force Majeure / Events Beyond Our Control
Sometimes events occur that are beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or travel restrictions).

If such an event prevents the retreat from going ahead, we will do our best to offer you a transfer to a future retreat or a full refund.

7. Assumption of Risk & Responsibility
You acknowledge that participation in yoga, excursions, and other retreat activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit to participate.

Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions before the retreat.
